New York State Association of Chiefs of Police Medal of Honor

Nominations for 2017 are open for Acts of Heroism performed between July 1, 2016 - June 30, 2017.  Nominations are due by June 30, 2017. Nomination form is available here.  The Medal of Honor will be awarded at the 2017 Annual Training Conference.

 

Medal of HonorThe Medal of Honor is bestowed upon a full-time, salaried member of a duly constituted police department of a municipality of the State of New York who has performed an act of heroism above and beyond the call of duty.

Recommendations must be made by either the commanding or superior officer of the nominee.
