The NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services Office of Public Safety is pleased to announce the availability of a DWI D etection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing (SFST) Instructor Refreshe r course. This National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) progr am is designed to update law enforcement officers who are currently certifi ed as instructors in DWI Detection and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing using proper procedures and protocols requisite within the NHTSA DWI Detect ion and Standardized Field Sobriety Testing program. All officers c urrently certified as DWI Detection and SFST Instructors are strongly encou raged to attend.

Pr e-Registration is required. All interested parties must register at least t wo weeks prior to the course as seats are limited. The location of training , class times and safety guidelines will be provided through an email confi rmation; those who do not register will not receive this important notifica tion and will not be admitted to the training.
