VIDEO: Woman, 77, dies when speeding, unlicensed BMW driver runs red light, T-bones her car

A 77-year-old woman died early Tuesday when a speeding BMW driver with a suspended license ran a red light and T-boned the Honda Accord in which she was a passenger, police said.  The BMW driver was zipping west on Atlantic Ave. when she appeared to blow a red light at Bradford St. in East New York about 12:20 a.m. and slammed into the passenger side of the white Honda, video obtained by the Daily News shows.

The 41-year-old Honda driver was headed north on Bradford St. when he was struck in the intersection. Medics rushed the trapped Honda driver and his passenger to Brookdale University Hospital, where the woman died. Her name was not immediately released.  The Honda driver is expected to recover, officials said.
