38th Colonel Henry F. Williams Annual International Homicide Seminar

September 20-25, 2026, the New York State Police will be hosting the 38th Colonel Henry F. Williams Annual International Homicide Seminar. This year’s event will feature the following presentations: Shot in the Dark, Family Man to Family Annihilator: Chris Watts Case Study, Digging for Answers: Cold Cases, Mass Exhumations and Modern Investigative Tools, Beyond The Golden State Killer: Harnessing Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy to Solve Violent Crime, Identify Missing Persons, and Exonerate the Innocent, Buried Secrets: The Bucks County Killing Spree, Cold Case: The Murder of Karen Norton, No Body Homicide/Device Location, Homicide of Brandyn Foster, DNA Technology, Yogurt Shop Murders, and Forensic Video / Digital Media. The Seminar Registration Form is available at https://troopers.ny.gov/henry-f-williams-homicide-seminar. All wishing to attend the seminar must complete and submit the registration form online.
Cost for attendees: $1,200 in U.S. funds for double rooms, $1,800 for single rooms. All attendees are responsible for the full fee, even if they do not use the accommodation provided. Fee includes registration, lodging (double), meals, and the hospitality program. Attendees/agencies are responsible for the cost of transportation to and from Albany, New York.
