Category: Training
Please join us in December 2024, for one of the five one-day sessions of New York State Police’s Hate Crimes Investigation trainings being presented by the New York State Police at multiple locations throughout New York State.
Training will give law enforcement a newer understanding of bias crime investigative strategies and learn the resources that can be used effectively to investigate crimes that are committed by suspects who target their victims due to their own bias. These strategies will provide the necessary tools to conduct the initial investigation, affect an arrest, and lead to a successful prosecution.
Training locations include the Genesee County Rural Police Training Academy, City of Oneida Public Library, New York State Police Academy (Albany), South Plattsburg Fire Company, and Anti-Defamation League headquarters in New York City.
To register please fill out the fillable form in the flyer located here and email it to [email protected]. Please check the box for the session location you plan on attending.
Training is presented in conjunction with the New York State Police, Anti-Defamation League, F.B.I., U.S. Attorney’s Offices of Western and Northern Districts of New York, Genesee County Rural Police Training Academy, Batavia Police Department, and City of Oneida Police Department.
